Let Go!
A Half Day Retreat with Howie Cohn
Saturday, June 18, 9am - 1pm PST
HYBRID: In-Person @ 2929 24th Street, SF
OR
Virtually, via Zoom
Revered meditation teacher Joseph Goldstein, in his book, “One Dharma” found that the unifying element in all schools of Buddhism is “liberation through non-clinging. “
Put in lay person’s terms, learning how to let go is the key to happiness. There is much confusion about what it means to let go. During this half retreat, sitting and walking together, we will explore and practice letting go, realizing moment to moment freedom of non-clinging,
We'll spend four hours together sitting and walking in silence, with instructions and opportunities for questions. Suitable for all levels of experience.
Registration is required. Suggested donation is $20 - $50, though no one is ever turned away for inability to pay. You will also have a opportunity to offer dana to the teacher.
This will be offered as both an in person event as well as livestreamed on Zoom. Please make sure you register for the right event.
For those attending in person:
Covid Protocols: As you are aware, these protocols are fluid, but at this moment there are no mask or vaccination mandates in San Francisco. We, however, are going to require masks. No proof of vaccination necessary. If local protocols change to require proof of vaccination for indoor events, we will follow the local ordinance. Also, please note that our protocol is different than that for normal SFDC events.
The space has an HVAC system with MERV-13 filters running continuously when the building is occupied, as well as a Blue Air 211 Purifier in the meditation space.
